Continuous-thread rod (sometimes called all-thread) is the practical answer when a project needs studs of non-standard length or when on-site cutting is required during installation. A bar of M24 × 3 m all-thread can be cut to forty-eight 60 mm studs at the workshop, or to two 1.5 m anchor rods on a chemical-plant pipe-rack. Ferralium 255 (UNS S32550, EN 1.4507) all-thread is the right choice when standard duplex 22Cr does not meet PREN ≥ 40, or when the application demands matched-grade hardware to companion stud bolts and heavy hex nuts. Per-heat EN 10204 type 3.2 MTC, hardness ≤ 32 HRC, NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156-3 Table A.10. RFQ: info@torqbolt.com / WhatsApp +91-22-66157017.
Threading is single-point cut for sizes above 1-1/4 inch (32 mm) where roll-die hardness is insufficient for the as-quenched super duplex bar, and roll-threaded for smaller sizes where hardened dies of the matched profile are available. Roll-threading produces a higher fatigue limit because the deformed thread root carries compressive residual stress, and is preferred for cyclic-load applications. The 6 m maximum length is set by the heat-treat furnace clearance during solution-anneal: longer custom lengths are spliced from two segments per qualified welding procedure, with the splice typically positioned at a non-stressed location. For most applications specify ≤ 6 m per piece for normal supply.
Per-heat EN 10204 type 3.2 MTC: chemistry per ASTM A479, mechanical properties per ASTM E8 and A370, hardness traverse, ferrite-content per ASTM E562, NACE MR0175 conformance with Table A.10 reference. Thread-class verification by go / no-go ring gauge per ASME B1.3 system 21. NORSOK M-650 QTR (MDS D55) available on request.
